Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is an unassuming neighborhood located in the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. It is a bit of a mystery as the West Island can be confusing to those unfamiliar with its meaning. They often believe it's an island located that lies west of Montreal, but it's actually the West Island encompasses everything between the cities in Lachine as well as West. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is frequently called her birthplace. It is true that she stayed there for a short duration. Brugel lived in Courtice near Oshawa the city of Ontario. The first goal she had was to become an expert dancer. But, a growing rate increased her height and she outgrew all of the dance partners she had. In an article published in the Toronto Star she admitted In heels, I'm 6 feet one inch. As I grew older than my male partners I stopped. Numerous former dancers choose to become actors. For Brugel, it was the encouragement by her drama instructor at high school that led her to the path she wanted. The teacher was the one who advised her to audition to play the character of Anne in the school's annual production. She tried out and eventually got the lead for the role in Anne of Green Gables. The show led her to receive the award of a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theater Program which she graduated with the Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in 2000. Over the last 20 years, Brugel's work been seen on the small and large screen. Her work gained most recognition when she landed her part as Rita on the award-winning TV series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel played the role of Rita in the Handmaid's Tale the series filmed over ten years ago.
